Kadhi is a traditional recipe. This is made in different ways in different parts of Maharashtra. This can be a good alternative to your dal if you are bored of having it. Today we will make this kadhi in khnadeshi style. Do try this recipe at home and drop a comment for me. Do not forget to like, share and subscribe.

• 3~4 Green chilies
• 7~8 Garli cloves
• 2 cups Buttermilk
• 1 tsp Besan
• 1 tsp Jawar flour
• Turmeric powder
• 1 tsp Ghee
• 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
• 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
• A pinch of Hing
• 10~12 Curry leaves
• 1/4 tsp Fenugreek seeds
• 4~5 Cloves
• 1~2 Stone flower
• Salt to taste

• Take green chilies into a blender jar.
• Add garlic cloves and blend it into paste.
• Take buttermilk into a pot.
• Add the blended paste besan, jawar flour, turmeric powder and
mix well.
• No lumps of flour should be formed.
• You can skip jawar flour if you don’t want.
• But Jawar flour gives that authentic taste.
• If you are not adding jawar flour then add 2 tsp besan.
• Heat up a pan on medium heat and add ghee.
• Add mustard seeds and let it pop up.
• Add cumin seeds, hing, curry leaves, fenugreek seeds, cloves,
stone flower and mix well.
• You can add cloves while blending garlic & green chilies too.
• Add the buttermilk and mix well.
• Add salt and mix well.
• Simmer on medium heat for about 7-8 minutes.
• No need to cover kadhi while simmering.
• Stir at the intervals while simmering.
• Kadhi goes well with fulke.
